It’s all glowy and finished.

This is the first time I’ve designed (and not illustrated) a cover for one of my own books, so it was exciting to do, and I spent way too much time on it.

Her minister, the widowed Reverend Alasdair Gilchrist, escorts her on the journey. She is determined to keep her brother alive, and to keep her greatest secret: she’s been in love with Mr. Gilchrist for years.

The Darkest Hour is a standalone inspirational Regency romance novella and a prequel to The Darkest Summer. It comes out SOON, and will be available for free for a limited time in exchange for signing up for my Regency and Clean Romance mailing list!

Some scenes are more or less sketches, but the rough draft for The Darkest Hour is done!
36,000 words, about 170 pages
The Darkest Hour is a standalone Regency romance novella, and also a prequel to The Darkest Summer. It is about the hero’s sister’s romance the year before.

My deadline for finishing The Darkest Summer manuscript was May 31st. I did it!! It’s sent to my editor for it’s first round of editing, which is the substantive/content edit.

The Darkest Summer is a clean romance, Regency retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone. There’s kidnapping, and kissing. 309 pages, around 90,000 words, coming out November 2017.
