Oh yes, they’re clearly pomegranates now. 🙂 Does this have anything to do with the theory that the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was actually a pomegranate?
Naw, I used pomegranates because they are exotic-ish fruits. And general symbols of fertility. And because I like them and I had one when I was doing these pages that was a handy live reference. :]
